Syracuse Chiropractor | Dr. Len Ancone
Believe it or not, I had never heard of what a chiropractor was, let alone what they did, until I was almost 21 years old.
Finding Chiropractic
When I was 23, I severely injured my back while working out. I had excruciating pain every time I took a breath. A good friend of mine who had become a chiropractor had recently moved back to the area. I remembered him telling me all the wonderful things chiropractic can do to help the body heal itself. Instead of going to my family doctor to be put on a regimen of anti-inflammatory drugs and pain relievers, I decided to give chiropractic a try. It was the best move I ever made for my health. After being adjusted and following my chiropractor’s care plan, I realized this was the best I had ever felt in my life.
My Education
At that time, I had a great job working for a great company. I graduated from Syracuse University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. But after my chiropractic experience, I knew that was my calling. I respectfully quit my job, packed up my few belongings and left for chiropractic college. That was 1989, in 1993 I graduated from New York Chiropractic College with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I now have been practicing at Onondaga Hill Chiropractic in Syracuse for over 28 years.
My Chiropractic Philosophy
My practice philosophy is simple, to care for every practice member as I would my family, with clinical excellence and respect. We are good listeners at our office and address every person’s needs on an individual basis.
When I’m not at the practice I enjoy working out, going to our family camp, and fishing. The thing I enjoy most is spending quality time with my wife, Theresa, and our family.
